Bajaj KTM motorcycles- at probiking showrooms soon!

For those who think that Bajaj may bring something great with the strategic Austrian partner KTM it is a good news that Bajaj has already not only developed two bikes with international caliber but also featured them at Milan auto show, concluded last month.
To my surprise and I am sure it will be surprising for you also the highly technological advanced bikes featured are designed, developed and manufactured by our own “Hamara Bajaj” at Akurdi plant, Pune. The only contribution of KTM in these products are Styling, which is also evident by sheer glimpse of it. You would also be surprised to know that this job has been done for Bajaj by the same team who has designed and developed the Pulsar first time in 2001. Since then Bajaj has betting its entire stake on this team led by Mr. Joseph Abraham who has also designed the Dtsi, Dts-Si and now recently launched Pulsar 135LS with 4-valve technology, with this we can proudly say that the new Pulsar 135LS launched with 4-valve technology shares the same technology with the KTM bikes.
Both the bikes are going to be launched in European market somewhere same time next year. All the bikes with the brand name Bajaj KTM will be manufactured in India at the Bajaj’s most technological advanced manufacturing unit at Chakan and will be further exported to European countries. It is speculated that these models will be featured at coming Auto Expo 2010 at New Delhi and will be soon available at selected Probiking showrooms of Bajaj.

At Milan Autoshow Bajaj KTM introduced two bikes: the Bajaj KTM 125cc RaceBajaj KTM 125cc Stunt. Both the bikes have same 125cc, 4-valve, 4-stroke fuel injected engine with twin overhead camshafts, which is capable to produce 15Ps of power. The unique lattice frame has been the stepping stone for the development of these bikes, the lattice frame provides the ultimate stability at both high speeds and low speeds, which makes the design perfect for both racing and stunts. These bikes have developed with different orientation as their names suggest. and
The philosophy behind the development of 125cc engine is that these bikes were to be introduced in European market first, where there is a mandate of 125cc capacity for the beginners with the power limit of 15Ps. But the design of the bike and the engine with 4-valve is such that it can be further transform into higher capacity easily. As we all have already witnessed that what all can a 4-valve engine do with Pulsar 135LS it can be imagined what an engine developed with higher capacity on the Bajaj KTM platform can do.Both the bikes are going to be launched in European market somewhere same time next year. Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu born August 9, 1974 in Madras (Chennai), India, fondly known as PRINCE by fans, is an actor in the Indian Telugu movie industry.
He is the son of Telugu actor Krishna and Indira Devi (his fathers first wife), born in Madras, Tamil Nadu and did most of his schooling and undergraduate in Madras. He has one elder brother, Ramesh, two elder sisters, Padmavathi, Manjula and one younger sister Priyadarsini. He married Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar who is two year older than him. in February 2005. On August 31, 2006, Mahesh and Namrata's first son was born and named as Gautam Gattamaneni. He looks like grandfather.
Mahesh Babu started out his movie career as a child actor in his father's films before making his debut as an actor. His debut film as a lead actor was Raja Kumarudu, cast opposite Preity Zinta. His next few films such as Yuvaraju and Vamsi also helped establish Mahesh's career. But in 2001, his release Murari became a breakthrough for Mahesh. Mahesh and Sonali Bendre played the main roles of the film. However in 2002, Mahesh had a dull phase. Both releases Takkari Donga and Bobby flopped at box office. In 2003, Mahesh finally got the hit he was looking for. Okkadu became one of the biggest hits in Tollywood for the year 2003.
Mahesh gave another flop at box office with, Nijam, that same year. However, he won the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in Nijam. In 2004, Mahesh acted in the flop, Naani, which was remade into a Tamil hit New. Arjun, which released in Summer 2004, came to be an average to above average grosser. For one year, Mahesh did not sign up for any film, as he was busy with Athadu from June 2004 to July 2005. It was a big hit both in India and overseas. In April 2006, his next movie, Pokiri became the highest grosser in the Telugu Film Industry. Mahesh's performance was applauded by even Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan. Mahesh's recent films, Sainikudu and Athidhi had a tremendous opening but failed to live up to expectations. But it managed a cool 100 day run.
